When you place an order or purchase from Tame Techy, you are deemed to be agreeing to these terms as part of the contract between you (the client) and us (the developer).
Payment Terms
For bespoke development work, initial orders from new clients must be paid for in full or in part (depending on the order) before work can begin.
After the first £50 of work is complete; a monthly account can be kept and invoices will be issued at regular intervals. These invoices will be due for payment within 2 weeks.
Failure to pay invoices on time can attract late payment charges, suspension of any on-going services and the addition of statutory interest.
Site Membership
Members are provided with log in details that are for a single person’s use only; regardless of whether they are benefitting from a paid or free membership. IP addresses are logged, and Tame Techy reserves the right to lock accounts that are displaying suspicious behaviour; and if necessary suspend the member completely, without refund or recourse.
Copyright
Tame Techy’s work is copyright protected. If you wish to use it on another site, please ask for permission first and check the licensing information included in any standalone plugins, themes and software.
Tame Techy reserves the right to include a small copyright notice or link back to this site at the bottom of websites that the developer works on in a significant capacity. Any client not wishing to display this link should let the developer know before work commences.
Liability
Tame Techy will take backups of the client’s site where appropriate (e.g. for substantial pieces of work) and will take steps to work responsibly and ensure a site is fully operational before a piece of work is classed as complete. However, Tame Techy cannot be held liable for any site downtime that may occur; nor related costs or loss of income during that downtime.
